ArmInfo.On July 25, the Government of Armenia provided concessions to 5 companies for exemption from customs duties during the regular meeting.
In particular, the Cabinet has satisfied the application of the "Nairian" cosmetic company about exemption from the payment of customs duties when importing technological equipment, components, raw materials and (or) materials within the framework of the investment program. Imported raw materials will be used in the production of natural and organic cosmetics. Within the program, it is planned to invest 130 million drams (mainly for the purchase of raw materials). The planned production volumes will be about 320 million drams, of which 192 million drams will be sold in Armenia, about 25.6 million drams in other EAEU member countries and about 102.4 million drams in third countries.
The government has provided benefits to the Ay Plast Company, which has been manufacturing medical plasters since 2013. As part of the application, raw materials and goods will be imported in the amount of 130 million drams.
The Cabinet of Ministers also approved the application of the "Voske Kar" LLC, which has been operating since 2010 in the production of clothing. Representatives of the companies plan to invest in the expansion of production of 2 billion drams. 60 jobs will be created to the existing 151 jobs. The planned production volumes will be about 3.75 billion drams.
Art Global LLC also received customs privileges to import goods. The company has been operating since 2015 and is engaged in the production of paper and cardboard products. The expected volume of investments will make 25 million drams. Production volumes will leave about 1 billion drams, of which 700 million drams will be sold in Armenia, 250 thousand drams in other EAEU member countries, the rest in third countries.
Having received a tax break from the government, "IN-VI" LLC, which since 2011 has been engaged in the production of cables and transmission lines, plans to import goods in the amount of 1.8 billion drams. The planned production volumes will be 5 billion drams; all products will be sold in Armenia.
