According to TASS, such an opinion was expressed to journalists by the first deputy chief of staff of the government Sergey Prikhodko, answering the question of whether the low positions of the EAEU in the Global Cybersecurity Index would hinder the development of digital initiatives within the Union.

The first deputy head of the apparatus of the government of the Russian Federation specified that among them is the creation of the Eurasian network of industrial cooperation, subcontracting and technology transfer; launching a cross-border trust space; development of trading platforms using Internet technologies. At the same time, he especially noted that Russia is aimed at constructive work in this direction.
