ArmInfo. On August 9, Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Tigran Avinyan took part in the festive event dedicated to the Builder's Day.
In his speech, Avinyan noted that the Armenian builder has always been at the forefront of the creative forces of society, and human builders are one of the driving forces of the Armenian economy . Speaking about the main problems in the field of construction, Avinyan called providing a comfortable environment, security, as well as maintaining a modern architectural look, taking into account traditions, noting, in particular, the importance of implementing socially oriented development programs.
The DeputyPrime Minister emphasized that the government is aware that in order to improve the construction sector, it is very important to resolve licensing and pricing problems, as well as a thorough review of the state-building tendering process. It is also necessary to improve the expert sphere, which will ensure the security of tomorrow's structures.
<The solutions to all these issues require both professional thought and legislative changes, as they are related to the revision of existing systems and overcoming inertial counteractions>, the vice prime minister said in his speech.
Avinyan also emphasized that a stable and competitive construction sector should be created in Armenia, therefore it is necessary to think more about the technological equipment of the sphere.
In this regard, according to him, one should not dwell on the implementation of BIM (Building Information Modeling) technologies, namely the use of information modeling of structures, noting that this technology can become a competitive advantage of the entire industry in the region.
In conclusion, Tigran Avinyan expressed confidence that the ambitious programs already implemented by the RA Urban Development Committee will make the construction sector one of the most important sectors of the country's economy.
After his speech, an awarding ceremony was held for workers in the construction industry.
