ArmInfo. The average market value of an apartment building in the regions of Armenia increased in the first half of 2019 by 4.1% per annum, amounting to 89.8 thousand drams / 1 sq.m.
This is evidenced by the data of the State Committee of the Real Estate Cadastre of RA. According to cadastral data, the highest prices for apartments in regions are traditionally recorded in the resort town of Tsaghkadzor - 281.8 thousand AMD / 1 sq. m. on average, with y-o-y growth of 0.5%. Abovyan follows next, where the price of multi-apartment buildings is fixed at 167.2 thousand AMD / 1 sq. m., with a y-o-y growth of 7.1% and Vagharshapat closes the top three with a cost per square meter of 134.8 thousand drams, with a y-o-y growth of 11.1%.
The lowest prices are recorded in Dastakert (Syunik region)- 21.4 thousand AMD / 1sq.m. (with a y-o-y decline of 3.6%), from which the city of Tumanyan (Lori region) slightly differed - 23.9 thousand drams / 1 sq. m. (with a y-o-y growth of 3.7%) and the city of Shamlukh (Lori region) - 28.3 thousand drams / 1 sq. m. (with y-o-y growth of 0.4%).
In the regions of Armenia, in the first half of 2019, 2,718 transactions on the sale of apartments in multi- apartment buildings were completed, which is 17.3% more than the indicator of the previous year. To note, henceforth in the reports of the State Cadastre on real estate prices, data on private houses will not be published. The prices in the reports of previous periods are also adjusted in connection with the calculation according to the new methodology in order to ensure comparability with the reporting period.
