Armenian communication operators in the first half of 2019 reduced  tax payments to the state budget by 23%

ArmInfo. The four telecom operators of Armenia for the first half of 2019 paid a total of 10.7 billion drams to the budget through taxes, which is 23% less than the  indicator a year ago, of which 2.8 billion - for direct taxes  (including income tax, income tax) and 4.2 billion for indirect taxes  (including VAT, excise tax).

According to the RA State Revenue Committee, the leader among  Armenian telecom operators is UCom, which has allocated 4.8 billion  drams to the budget for taxes, of which 63.9 million drams for  customs duties, 1.1 billion drams for direct taxes (including profit  tax , income tax) and 2.4 billion drams - indirectly (including VAT,  excise tax), which took 14th place in the general list of 1000  largest taxpayers, compared to 18th year earlier.

BEON Armenia (Beeline trademark), which paid 3.1 billion drams to the  budget through taxes, of which 1 billion - on direct (including  income tax, income tax) and 1.2 billion - on indirect (including .  VAT, excise tax), and payment of customs duties amounted to 13  million drams, took the 24th place in the general list of 1000  largest taxpayers, compared to the 17th year earlier.

"MTS Armenia" (VivaCell-MTS trademark) paid 2.3 billion drams to the  state treasury in the first half of 2019, of which 18.2 million drams  - for customs duties, 406.4 million drams - for direct taxes  (including tax for profit, income tax), 323.8 million drams - for  indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). In the general list of  the 1000 largest taxpayers, MTS Armenia (VivaCell-MTS trademark)  takes the 37th position, against the 11th year earlier.

JN Alpha (a trademark of Rostelecom) paid 499.3 million drams to the  budget, of which 1.4 million drams - for customs duties, 199.2  million - for direct taxes (including income tax, income tax) and  244.6 million - indirectly (including VAT, excise tax), taking the  fourth place in the general list of the 1000 largest taxpayers, 176th  versus 126th a year earlier.

Recall that in the first half of 2018, the four telecom operators in  the total amount paid out about 13.9 billion drams to the budget  through taxes, of which 5.6 billion drams fell to the share of the  leader - MTS Armenia. (The calculated exchange rate of the dram as of  June 28, 2019 was 477.11 dr / $ 1).
