According to the company's press service, the meeting's speakers were Technical Director of Triada Bagrat Dabaghyan, Rockbite games co-founder Gevorg Kopalyan, Frismos founder Arsham Manukyan and Beeline Armenia CEO Andrei Pyatakhin. During the meeting, the speakers spoke about the path taken by the companies, about the gaps and advantages of creating games in Armenia, and the need to train relevant specialists.
Beeline CEO Andrei Pyatakhin spoke about Beeline programs aimed at promoting start-ups in Armenia, and also noted the important role of telecommunications infrastructures in the development of the gaming sector in Armenia. ''The company seeks to promote the ecosystem of Armenian startups as much as possible. In Armenia there are numerous examples of successful startups that have started here and entered the international market. And this means that we are going in the right direction and will register wonderful results in the future'', he said.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of the Technology Development Center Fund Samvel Chakhalyan noted that the revenue of the global gaming market in 2019 will be about $ 150 billion, in 2021 it will reach $ 180 billion. However, he noted that in 2018 mobile games provided 76% of app revenue. "Today we heard industry leaders and I can confidently say that the direction of game development in Armenia has a great future," S. Chakhalyan added.
