ArmInfo.Chairman of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia (AEA) Arsen Ghazaryan is convinced that in the next 1-2 Armenia will provide double-digit economic growth. He stated this on October 9 in an interview with reporters on the sidelines of the scientific and practical symposium .
So, according to Ghazaryan, the participants of the symposium will have to analyze the tasks of economic growth in Armenia. Further, the RA government, together with the business community and using the achievements of the country's scientific potential, should develop strategic and tactical programs for the development of the Armenian economy. According to him, the economic revolution, which the republic's authorities are striving for, consists of a number of components. First of all, these are changes in human thinking. , said Ghazaryan.
According to the head of AEA, in order for citizens to feel the influence and fruits of the economic revolution, it is necessary to accelerate the growth rate of the economy. According to him, Armenia has already fixed certain heights, in particular, in terms of ensuring equal conditions for all market participants, activization of SMEs. At the same time, these achievements are not enough for ordinary citizens to feel both a participant in the economic revolution and the master of their future. "I'm more than confident that in the next 1-2 years, Armenia will record FDI growth, which will lead to the creation of new jobs and the double-digit growth of the economy," he assured.
It should be noted that Armenia's GDP growth in the approved budget for the current year is laid at 4.9%. The Ministry of Finance is inclined to believe that the figure will be 6.3% of the year's total. In the draft budget for 2020, the final GDP is projected at 4.9%.
Recall that the "What to do -1" symposium was organized in November 2018, within the framework of which, according to the organizers of the event - YSU and SPPA, the ideological and conceptual provisions of the economic revolution were determined.
