It should be noted that according to new data published by the State Revenue Committee (SRC), the 1000 largest taxpayers of Armenia paid 90.7 billion drams more taxes and fees for the first 9 months of this year than for the same period last year. In January-September 2019, the 1000 largest taxpayers transferred 764 billion 557 million drams to the state budget. For the first 9 months of last year, this amount amounted to 673 billion 788 million drams.
The first three largest taxpayers remained the same. Like last year, this year Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Copper Plant, which paid 40.5 billion drams of taxes and fees, which is 7.8 billion drams more than the same period last year, came first. "Grand Tobacco" moved from third to second place, paying 40.2 billion drams, which is 12.6 billion drams more than in January-September 2018. In third place is Gazprom Armenia, which paid 33.6 billion drams, which is 3 billion drams more compared to the same period last year.
