ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the eve of a working visit to Vayots Dzor Oblast, where the head of government got acquainted with the process of implementing subvention and other programs in Vayk and Yeghegnadzor communities.
According to the Prime Minister's press service, Pashinyan visited the Vayk Innovation Resource Center, where robotics is taught. 10 students are studying at the center and there is an opportunity to accept 10 more students. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of attracting new students to the robotics club and expressed his readiness to finance their annual training.
The head of government also visited the city table tennis school, kindergarten and familiarized with the conditions. Mayor Wajka noted that the city did not have the opportunity to submit applications for subvention programs this year, however, as a result of solving financial problems next year various programs will be presented. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of implementing programs in various directions in the community and noted that they should be aimed at enhancing life in the city and creating favorable conditions for people.
It should be noted that in Yeghegnadzor Pashinyan got acquainted with the process of restoration of courtyards and city lighting projects implemented within the framework of subvention programs. The head of government was openly enraged by what he saw. So, Pashinyan found out that the destroyed road along which the delegation was walking was built according to a subvention program. The prime minister specified with the mayor whether the work on the construction and improvement of the road has actually been completed. The mayor noted that only small details remained. The response of the mayor Yeghegnadzor pissed off the prime minister. He demanded to explain how it is possible to carry out the procedure for accepting the road construction project if the landscaping of sidewalks was not taken into account. He asked who carried out technical supervision, noting that "something is unclean here." After that, Pashinyan went to one of the yards, which was also landscaped as part of the subvention program. There he was hated by hatches covered with ordinary sheet metal, old arbors and rubbish. "If you carry out work, then you need to do it efficiently. Everything has been done in a nutshell, in a hurry. Do you consider this a beautification?" - He turned to the mayor.
