ArmInfo. As of October 10, the Armenian government placed in the Central Bank of the country 272 billion drams. RA Deputy Minister of Finance Armen Hayrapetyan stated on December 12 from the rostrum of parliament.
According to him, of this amount 16 billion drams is the remainder, and 256 billion drams - the contribution of the RA government. Moreover, as indicated by the Deputy Minister, the volume of these funds is changing on a daily basis. Funds are accumulated in the depositary account of the State Treasury, after which they are transferred to the Central Bank under REPO in 5.5%. Moreover, this is not about the means of the government, but about separate structures. For example, the funds of the offices for the implementation of programs are 28 billion drams, communities - 32 billion drams, extra- budgetary funds - 25 billion drams, state non-profit organizations - 132 billion drams, stabilization fund - 52 billion drams. As the deputy minister noted, these funds are planned in advance, and it is impossible to use them for specific projects. Within the framework of the agreement with the Central Bank in December this year, the country's budget will be replenished with only 9 billion drams, while 270 billion drams are needed. For this reason, the state from external sources attracts $ 130 million in the form of loans to fill the state budget deficit.
It should be noted that at the extraordinary meeting of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia on December 12, 4 credit agreements with the World Bank, Asian Development Bank and German bank KfW were submited for ratification.
