Prices of precious metals fall over week in Armenia 1.5%


ArmInfo. The official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week (December 28 - January 1) in Armenia were down 1.5% as compared to the prices for the last week and totaled 13,309.34 AMD per gram, the Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia told ArmInfo. Ex-factory silver price was down 1% to 207.66 drams/g, platinum - 0.2% to 17,296.48 drams/g, whereas palladium grew in price 0.3% to 4,432.67 drams/g.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2009, gold price in Armenia grew 55%, silver price - 93%, platinum price grew 92.5% and palladium - 2.4 times.
