Portfolio of refinanced loans of National Mortgage Company amounts to 3.1 bln AMD
ArmInfo.The refinancing portfolio of the National Mortgage Company (NMC) has exceeded 400 loans and amounted to 3.1 bln AMD, Executive Director of the NMC Universal Credit Organization Mher Yedigaryan said at today's press-conference. He pointed out that most part of the refinanced loans fell on credits for housing acquisition (300 loans).
At the same time, Yedigaryan said that the company carried out refinancing also at the expense of 12 bln AMD provided by the Armenian Government from the funds of the Russian stabilization loan.
To note, the interest rate of refinancing mortgage loans by NMC is 7.5% p.a. NMC refinances loans for acquisition and repair of property secured by pledge of credited property on terms of 30% prepayment of the housing value. In addition, NMC refinances mortgage credits provided by the commercial banks and universal credit companies with 10% prepayment of the property value and against additional security (as property).
As of the beginning of 2010, NMC has general agreements with 12 commercial banks and 2 credit companies, in particular, with ArmBusinessBank, ARARATBANK, Armeconombank, Artsakhbank, Anelik Bank, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group, VTB Bank (Armenia), HSBC Bank Armenia, Inecobank, Cascade Bank, Byblos Bank Armenia, as well as the First Mortgage Company and Washington Capital.
To recall, the only shareholder of the NMC UCO with 5 bln AMD capital registered and licensed by the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) on 16 June 2009 is the CBA.
