INGO ARMENIA insurance company gathers record number of insurance contracts


ArmInfo. INGO ARMENIA signed a record number (24347) of insurance contracts in 2009, the charges from which assured the first position to the Company among 12 participants in the insurance sector by both the total volume of premiums and separate insurance segments, the data of Ranking of Armenia's insurance companies, prepared by Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) on a quarterly basis, say.

According to ArmInfo's financial analysis, upon the results of 2009, INGO ARMENIA Insurance Company took the 1st place by the size of assets (2,1 bln drams) and the net profit margin (0.5 bln drams). The insurance company takes the 2nd place by the level of capitalization and reserves (equity capital - 1.5 bln drams, reserves - 132 mln drams). INGO Armenia is active in all the segments involved in the license, moreover, it succeeds to hold the leadership over the latest years on the attracted charges from insurance of property risks (I place), tourist insurance (I place), auto insurance (CASKO, I place), insurance of freight traffic (I place) and accident insurance (I place). By the level of insurance indemnities paid in 2009, INGO ARMENIA also holds the 1st position. In 2009, the company paid the damages on 4869 occurrences insured to the total sum of 464 mln drams, the major part of which are payments on CASKO (527 cases, 301 mln drams - compensations).

The company is a market leader also by HR attractiveness - average monthly salary in the company exceeds 400,000 drams.

To note, INGO ARMENIA CJSC has been functioning in Armenia's insurance market since 1997. The company has been affiliated with the biggest Russian insurance group INGOSSTRAKH and is part of INGO group ("International Network of Guarantees and Obligations"), which also includes the Finnish INGO NORD, Austrian "Guarant", the Ukrainian INGP UKRAINE, etc.
