Prices of precious metals up in Armenia


ArmInfo. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for April 19-25 2010. Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week were increased 0.2% as compared to the prices for the last week and to 14,629.36 AMD per gram. Silver price was up 0,6% to 232.13 drams/g, platinum was down 0.2% to 21786.40 drams/g, and palladium was up 4% to 6719.58 drams/g.

Last week as company to the previous week, the gold price was up 1.5%, silver - 2.3%, platinum - 3.3% and palladium - 4.8%.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia grew 7%, silver price - 7.5%, platinum price grew 16.7% and palladium - over 30.4%.
