Nairi insurance company is hitting its stride
ArmInfo. According to the published financial reports, Nairi Insurance IC gathered premiums to almost 180 mln drams in 1Q, 2010 and assured 33% growth of the indicator per year. The Company's payments level over the reporting quarter reduced by 28% to 34 mln drams.
IC assets as of late 1Q reached 1.581 bln drams, total capital made up 1.1 bln drams, 790 mln drams of which fell on the authorized capital. The Company's net profit reduced by 14% per annum to 108 mln drams.
Nairi Insurance IC has been functioning in Armenia's insurance market since 1996. Five individual persons, including the son of the second president of Armenia, Levon Kocharyan, with 25% equity share, are the Company's shareholders.
