ProCredit Bank increases its capital by 400 mln drams up to 6.490 bln drams
ArmInfo. The shareholders of the Armenian ProCredit Bank have sent 400 mln drams to increase the capital, thanks to which the authorized capital of the bank will reach 6.490 bln drams. As the head of press-service of ProCredit Bank Mariam Hambartsumyan told ArmInfo correspondent, two out of the three shareholders took part in increasing of the capital: ProCredit Holding AG and EBRD.
In particular, ProCredit Holding AG sent 333 mln drams (divided to 333 shares), and EBRD - 67 mln drams (divided to 67 shares). The nominal price of each share was 1 mln drams. As a result of replenishment, the share participation of the ProCredit Holding AG grew from 67,49% to 68,46%, the share of the EBRD was preserved at the same level - 16,67%, and of the German KfW bank - decreased from 15,84% to 14,87%.
She also added that the documents about such changing in the authorized capital of the bank have been already submitted to Armenian Central Bank for endorsement.
To recall, previous replenishment of the capital of ProCredit Bank took place at the end of 2008, when the capital was increased by 300 mln drams - up to 6.090 bln drams. ProCredit Bank has started acting at the Armenian market since February 2008.
