Armeconombank starts issuing accumulative cards
ArmInfo. Armeconombank has started issuing the accumulative cards. As the head of the plastic cards department of the bank Vardan Egiazaryan told ArmInfo correspondent, within the frames of the project the accumulative card will be given for 14 months and the rate of interest is 9%.
"The rate of interest is accrued only for 12 months and the rest 2 months are given to a customer additionally for taking money from his account at any moment convenient for him>, - Egiazaryan explained. He also added that fulfillment of this project has become possible stemming from the fact that Armeconombank is one of the few Armenian banks which owns AMTs with the cash-in function thanks to which the owner of the card may transfer money to his account not visiting the bank. At present the bank has 4 cash-in AMTs in Yerevan, Their number will grow by 2 by the end of the year. He also said that within the frames of the accumulative project the bank is going to emitted 10thsd plastic ArCa cards.
As of 1 June 2010 the number of the active cards of Armeconombank amounted to 95965 units (21% growth since the beginning of 2010), ATMs - 54, POS-terminals - 230.
