Gold price up in Armenia


ArmInfo. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for April 16-22 2010.

Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week was increased 1.4% as compared to the prices for the last week and totaled 14,221.47 AMD per gram. Silver price was down 0,8% to 214 drams/g, platinum was down 2.5% to 18151.47 drams/g, and palladium was down 4.5% to 5619.54 drams/g.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia grew 4%, silver price fell 0.8%, platinum price fell 2.7% and palladium grew 9.1%.
