ArmInfo. Over the past 4 months of 2010 the "structured" deposit offered by Ameriabank demonstrated unprecedented yield, which is unordinary for a banking deposit, Ameriabank's press service told ArmInfo.
According to the source, the changes of oil and gold prices, as well as the changes of the Dow Jones index, depending on the gold prices, the yield could be 15% p.a. in case of gold price growth. Depending on the oil price fall, the yield could be 40% p.a. And in case of reduction of the Dow Jones index, the yield could be 15% p.a.
The minimal amount of the "structured" deposit is 40 thsd USD. The income from the given deposit consists of two parts: the first one is a fixed income paid by the bank in case of a traditional deposit on the basis of the interest rate stipulated in the contract; the second one is an additional income formed as a consequence of changes in international prices of basic assets.
To note, the majority shareholder of Ameriabank is TDA Holdings Limited affiliated with Troika Dialog, with 99.99% share of participation in the capital.
