Ameriabank is planning to increase its credit portfolio to 84bln AMD by the end of this year
ArmInfo. Ameriabank is planning to increase its credit portfolio by 10% to 83bln-84bln AMD by the end of this year, Director General of Ameriabank Artak Anesyan said today.
As of today the bank's credit portfolio totals 76bln AMD, wherein the share of loans given to SME makes up 30%.
According to the Ranking of the Commercial Banks of Armenia prepared by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), as of July 1 2010 Ameriabank had the second biggest credit portfolio in Armenia's banking sector. The share of the assets made up 70.4%. In Jan-June 2010 the bank's net profit totalled 1.3bln AMD (5th place).
The majority shareholder of Ameriabank is TDA Holdings Limited, an affiliate of Troika Dialog. The company's share has not been changed as a result of Ameria's merger with Cascade Bank (99.99%). The merger took place in Mar 2010, when TDA Holdings Limited bought 100% of Cascade Bank's shares.
