Ex-head of Armenian CB: Central Bank had better remember diversification of assets
ArmInfo. Central Bank of Armenia had better remember diversification of assets, former Chairman of Armenia's Central Bank Bagrat Asatryan told journalists today.
He said this is confirmed by the current prices for gold which convincingly refute the assurances, made in 2004, according to which the gold reserves were sold at best. "At that time the gold cost $390 per ounce, now it costs $1350 - 1360. Draw conclusions by yourselves", B. Asatryan said.
