Over Q3 2010 Armenia's economy dedollarization level fell by 3%
ArmInfo. Over Q3 2010 Armenia's economy dedollarization level fell by 3%. The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) told ArmInfo that this happened thanks to the dedollarization measures taken by the CBA and government.
According to the CBA data, over Q3 2010 the volume of AMD deposits in the country's commercial banks grew by 9.4%, while foreign exchange deposits fell by 0.7%. Exchange rate fluctuations exclusive, the foreign exchange deposits grew by 0.8%. The source says that over Q3 2010 provision of crediting in foreign exchange grew by 5.4%.
To note, by the end of Q2, Armenia's economy dedollarization level made up 45,3%, having fallen by 11% as compared with Q1. As compared with Q2 2009, the level of economy dedollarization rose by 6%. Over Q2 2010 AMD deposits increased by 15,2% as compared with Q2 2009, foreign exchange deposits - by 25,8%, and economy crediting - by 22,1%.
