Armenian stock exchange announces contest of essays on the topic "Let's develop Armenian capital market"


ArmInfo. NASDAQ OMX Armenia has announced "Let's Develop Armenian Capital Market" essay contest for students.

All the final year students of economic, law and other related departments at high educational institutions, having Armenian state accreditation, are invited to participate in the Contest by answering one of the following questions in their essays:

1. Which are main obstacles of Armenian capital market developments and how to overcome them?

2. What should market participants do in order to develop Armenian capital market?

3. What policy should regulators conduct in order to develop Armenian capital market?

4. How public interest in Armenian capital market can be raised?

5. Which new instruments can be introduced in Armenian capital market?

The contest will start on November 1, 2010 and will last until December 30, 2010. Details of the contest, requirements to the essays, as well as application form are available at Essay Contest page of NASDAQ OMX Armenia official web-site (www.nasdaqomx.am/am/contest.htm).

Contest prizes include a financial reward, certificate from NASDAQ OMX Armenia, as well as an invitation to Best Member Award ceremony, where authors of the best essays will have a chance to meet in person and establish relations with Armenian capital market participants.
