In Q3 2010 share of loans given to legal entities in loan book of Armenia's commercial banks grew from 54% to 54.6%
ArmInfo. In Q3 2010 the assets of the banking system of Armenia grew by 6.7% to $3.9bln (1.4trl AMD).
The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia reports that personal lending grew by 1.3% to $836.1mln (302.1bln AMD). The amount of loans given to legal entities grew by 8.7% to 470.1bln AMD ($1.3bln) or 54.6% of the loan book. In Q3 2010 the banks invested $355.2mln (128.3bln AMD) in securities - 14.1% more than in Q2 2010. The amount of funds on nostro accounts grew by 15.3% to 72.1bln AMD ($199.5mln). The cash grew by 7.1% to 68.7bln AMD ($190.2mln).
As of Oct 1 2010 there were 21 commercial banks with 400 branches in Armenia.
