HSBC Bank Armenia introduces Corporate ATM Cards to the market
ArmInfo. HSBC Bank Armenia has launched a new product for corporate customers: Corporate ATM Cards. Now corporate clients can have 24/7, easy and quick access to their corporate funds. The ATM card allows company directors and authorized individuals to obtain daily cash up to AMD 3 million through HSBC's ATM network, which is the largest in Yerevan. Cash withdrawals through ATMs are exempt from any encashment fee both for local and foreign currency accounts. The corporate ATM cards offer a number of other benefits, such as transferring funds between company accounts and to other accounts within the Bank, checking company account balances and printing mini statements.
"This is another step towards our vision and goal of being the Best Bank for Business in Armenia. Our aim is to ensure that every interaction with HSBC is as efficient, convenient and secure for our customers as possible. Results from the first few weeks are very promising: over 300 corporate ATM cards have already been issued and are actively being utilized, which means that this product meets our corporate clients' needs perfectly," commented the CEO of HSBC Bank Armenia, Astrid Clifford.
In the 3Q 2010 "HSBC Bank Armenia" replenished its authorized capital by 3 bln drams and provided net profit 3 bln drams for 9 months, as a result of which the total capital reached 23 bln drams. The aggregate profit of the bank amounted to 12.2 bln drams as of 1 October 2010. The credit investments of the bank grew by 32% as against the same period of 2009 and reached 83 bln drams as of 1 October.
To note, the shareholders of the bank are: HSBC Europe B.V. with 70% share and Wings Establishment with 30% share.
