Areximbank-GPB Group starts servicing ORANGE clients
ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group has started servicing subscribers of ORANGE mobile operator, the Bank's press service told ArmInfo. Henceforth, subscribers will be able to pay for telecommunication services (Internet, mobile communication), provided by ORANGE, in any branch of the Bank.
To recall, the Bank serves subscribers of VIVA CELL and BEELINE, as well as CORNET Internet provider. Payment for the services of these companies may be carried out both through the bank and the bank's ATMs. The Bank is going to switch to the system of payment of municipal services, as well as Internet, mobile and fixed communication through sms-messages (Telecard system) in early 2011.
According to the latest data, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group assured growth of the credit portfolio, being the highest in the banking system of Armenia, by 99,99% to 42.8 bln drams (76% of the bank assets) over 9 months of 2010. Total assets of the bank over 9 months grew by 44,31%, so, the bank took the second place among the Armenian banks by this indicator. The Bank's assets in absolute terms as of October 1, 2010, made up 56.3 bln drams.
The Bank's total liabilities as of this date made up 41.7 bln drams, total capital -14.6 bln drams, the authorized capital -12.3 bln drams. The Bank's pretax profit upon the results of 9 months made up 744.3 mln drams. The Bank has 15 branches, 6 of which are located in Yerevan and 9 - in the regions.
To note, Areximbank-Gazprombank Group CJS has been functioning since 1998 as a bank established to support the entrepreneurship and serve financial flows between Russia and Armenia. The Russian Gazprombank has been owning 100% shares of the bank since June 12, 2009.
