Amount of internet utility payments and internet trade in Armenia grows by 4 times


ArmInfo. In Oct 2010 as compared with Oct 2009 the amount of internet utility payments and internet trade in Armenia grew by 4 times to 665.4mln AMD (60,905 transactions).

Armenian Card reports that in Oct 2010 the amount of internet utility payments totalled 337mln AMD - 3 times more than in Oct 2009 (33,305 transactions - 66.1% more than a year before), while the amount of internet trade grew by 4 times - to 328.4mln AMD (27,600 transactions - 49.7% more than in Oct 2009).

The amount of card to card transfers grew by 45.5% to 302.3mln (3,213 transactions - 48.6% growth).
