Areximbank-GPB Group to publish list of winners of student action on Dec 15
ArmInfo. Areximbank-GPB Group has announced a student action under slogan "THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY - FOR THE BENEFIT OF EVERY STUDENT" to support young specialists having achievements in public and scientific activity for the welfare of the country.
Under the Bank's THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY - FOR THE BENEFIT OF EVERY STUDENT action, AREXIMBANK-GAZPROMBANK GROUP from October 19 through November 15, 2010 accepts application-bids from students of Armenian universities for full or partial payment of their semiannual tuition fee. The action is targeted at supporting the formation of young specialists, having not only high academic achievements, but actively involved in civil and scientific activities.
"The first stage is over. We have received over 500 electronic applications 2nd-4th year undergraduate students, graduate students, post-graduate students and degree seeking students of the state and private universities. A special commission has been set up to selected the bidders on the basis of a scoring system with consideration of academic achievements, civil activities, social status. 20 beneficiaries will be selected from among the participant-students," Alexander Hakobyan, chief specialist at the Bank's Service for Customer and Marketing Development.
The list of selected candidates will be publicized on December 15, 2010 at the Bank's official website, thereafter, the beneficiaries will be invited to the official ceremony of scholarship granting.
The sole owner of Areximbank-GPB Group CJSC is Gazprombank OJSC (Russia). Ranking of Armenian Commercial Banks prepared by Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo) says assets of the bank totaled 56.3 billion drams as of Oct 1 2010 (66.7 billion drams as of Nov 1), the share of the loan portfolio is 77% or 43.2 billion drams.
