Revaluation of nominal exchange rate of AMD against USD made up 0,85%, and against EUR - 5,18%
ArmInfo. In conditions of the unchanged refinancing rate, yield decline was fixed in the primary market of government bonds in October 2010. The press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) told ArmInfo that the average weighted yield of government bonds with up to 1-year maturity fell by 1,61% to 9,89%.
According to the source, in the market of REPO-transactions the average rate in October rose by 0.2% to 7.5%.
According to the CBA, in the currency market the nominal exchange rate of AMD against USD consolidated by 0,85% in October and made up 360,3 AMD/$1, and revaluation against EUR made up 5,18% to 500,47 AMD/1 EUR.
The CBA has maintained the refinancing rate at 7,25%, and the rates of lombard repos and attracted deposits are fixed at 10,25% and 4,25% respectively.
