ACBA-Leasing starts its first projects on leasing of commercial property


ArmInfo. ACBA-Leasing has launched its first projects on leasing of commercial property, Director General of ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank Stepan Gishyan told ArmInfo. According to him, the potential users of the new product for the Armenian market will be able to lease any commercial property, including office, storage and trade premises. Gishyan said that the new product is demanded in the market.

According to him, the main privilege of the commercial property leasing is its fiscal component, particularly, the value-added tax for leasing payment is subject to complete deduction.

Gishyan said that the leasing payment within the frames of the commercial property leasing is close to the market interest rates on the loan, however, the repayment period is longer, which also makes leasing more attractive against the background of the banking loan. At the moment the leasing portfolio of ACBA- Leasing is 16 mln USD.

According to the latest data, as of 1 Oct 2010 there were 3 leasing companies in the Armenia. Their summary leasing portfolio exceeded 5 bln AMD, of which about 95% fell on ACBA-Leasing. Among the Armenian credit companies specializing in leasing services, ACBA-Leasing is an irreplaceable leader. ACBA-Leasing is the brach structure of ACBA- Credit Agricole Bank.
