On occasion of 20th anniversary of Anelik Bank commission fees for money transfers via Anelik system minimized
ArmInfo. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Anelik Bank, the commission fees of money transfers via the Anelik system are minimized. The press service of Anelik Bank told ArmInfo that the fixed commission fees range from 0.5% to 0.8% depending on the transferred amount and currency.
According to the source, the commission fee is 0.5% for 150 thsd Russian rubles and more, 5 thsd US dollars and more, 3001 euros and more. The fee is 0.6% for 120-150 thsd RUR, 4001-5000 USD, 2001- 3000 EUR. The fee is 0.7% for 90001-120 thsd RUR, $3001-4000, 1001-2000 EUR. The fee is 0,8% for under 30 thsd RUR and 30001-90 thsd RUR, under $1000 and $1001-3000, under 1000 EUR.
To note, Anelik Bank was the first among Armenian banks to create its own international system Anelik in 1997, which operates almost in 100 countries and 500 banks. Anelik Bank has a subsidiary in Moscow – Anelik RU LLC (the status of the subsidiary bank was provided by the Central Bank of Armenia in 2003), which specializes in money transfers via Anelik system.
In the first half-year of 2011 the turnover of Anelik international money transfer system grew by 10% as compared with the first half-year of 2009, having totaled 450 mln USD. About 10% of the system turnover or $45 mln fell on Armenia, the annual growth being 18%. In the first half-year of 2010 a total of 600 thsd money transfers were carried via Anelik system, the average amount of a transfer being $750.
According to Anelik Bank, over the past 5 years the bank's assets doubled, credit portfolio grew more than twice, and capital increased more than 3.7 times.
