Areximbank-Gazprombank Group chooses nominal scholarship holders


ArmInfo. Areximbank-Gazprombank Group held a competition of scholarships for Armenian students. The press service of Areximbank-Gazprombank Group told ArmInfo that the key goal of the competition was to support young specialists demonstrating high results in education and showing their worth in public and scientific activities for the welfare of the country.

The competition for scholarships to the students of Armenian higher educational institutions took place from October 19 to December 15 and was held by two stages: receipt of applications and selection of twenty winners by the special committee of the bank. Over 500 electronic applications were received, and the list of chosen candidates is published at the website of the bank. Official scholarship awarding ceremony will take place on December 24. The total fund of the means, allocated by "Areximbank – Gazprombank Group" CJSC, made up 2mln AMD. The twenty scholarship holders will receive one-time grants ranging from 40 thsd to 400 thousand AMD.
