Precious metal prices down in Armenia


АрмИнфо. The Depository of Precious Metals and Stones of Armenia, the Finance Ministry of Armenia, has established the prices of precious metals for January 21 - Feb 6 2011.

Thus, the official price of gold (gold bullions) established for the current week was down 3.5% as compared to the prices for the last week and totaled 15,504.73AMD per gram. Silver price was down 6% to 315.53 drams/g, platinum was down 2.5% to 20960.36 drams/g, and palladium was down 2% to 9346.31 drams/g.

The source reports that as comparing to early January 2010, gold price in Armenia fell 3.3%, silver price - 7%, platinum price grew 5% and palladium - 7%.
