Customers of Armenian commercial banks increased by almost 2% to 1.1 mln in November 2010 
ArmInfo.  As of 1 December 2010 the clientele base of the Armenian banking system numbered 1.045 mln individuals and 65.687 thsd legal entities. According to the preliminary data of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) provided to ArmInfo by the National Statistical Service of Armenia, a total of 1.111 mln customers had 1.759 mln accounts in the commercial banks, 1.626 mln of them being accounts of individuals and 132.5 thsd accounts of legal entities. 
According to the source, in November 2010 the clientele base of the Armenian commercial banks increased by 2% or 20.567 thsd. The number of individuals monthly grew by 2,2% or 22.330 thsd persons, and the number of legal entities dropped by 2,6% or 1763. Over November 2010 the number of accounts of legal entities and individuals increased by 1,9% or 33.6 thsd. The accounts of legal entities grew by 1,7% or 2190, and those of individuals - by 2% or 31419.
As of Dec 1 2010, the number of joint accounts in VTB Bank (Armenia) made up 37, and the clientele base of these accounts - 3469462, having undergone no changes.
