From now on pensioners to be able to receive pensions by banking cards
ArmInfo. Converse Bank and Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Issues have signed an agreement on noncash payment of pensions. The press service of Converse Bank told ArmInfo that the bank will open saving accounts for pensioners or provide them with a local ArCa card "Pension".
According to the source, the bank will provide all the pension services free of charge, particularly, opening and serving of accounts, issuing and serving of cards. The bank has worked out special service conditions for pensioners: the provision of money from the accounts will be done free of charge (in the bank's branches and ATMs), 3% annually will be transferred to the card account. By the "Pension" card pensioners will receive 30% discounts at the trade and service points. The bank also worked out a time deposit "Pension" for pensioners, to which the funds from the saving account may be re-registered for 1 year at an interest rate of 12%. In order to receive noncash pensions, pensioners may apply to any branch of Converse Bank.
