Ameriabank increases its credit portfolio by 37% thanks to active financing of corporative customers
ArmInfo. As of 1 January 2011 the credit portfolio of Ameriabank amounted to 89 bln drams, having increased by 37% as against the same period of 2010. As press-service of Ameriabank reported, 93% of the portfolio growth were provided thanks to the credits to the legal persons, which increased by 43% over the reported period. As of 1 January 2011, the share of corporative customers in the credit portfolio of the bank was 84% or 74 bln drams. The assets of the bank grew by 25% in 2010 - up to 153 bln drams. The net profit of the bank increased by 56% in 2010 and reached 2.9 bln drams.
Over the reported period the bank ensured high quality of its credit portfolio, in which the share of the classified credits was 0,28%. Although, the lion's share in the credit portfolio are the credits of corporative customers, the bank continues extending the specter of the credit products for individual persons, in particular, for workers of the corporative customers, as well as improving the crediting conditions. The credit portfolio for individual persons increased by 31% in 2010 - up to 15 bln drams.
According to the ranking of commercial banks prepared by Arminfo, as of 1 January 2011 Ameriabank keeps the second position at the banking market of the country by the volume if the time deposits (53.5 bln drams or 44,3% out of general liabilities of the bank).
