Visa opens its secrets to banks and hides them from community


ArmInfo. The international payment system Visa opens its secrets to banks and hides them from the society. Today the Visa payment system held a seminar in Yerevan in which commercial banks took part.

But the organizers of the seminar thought that there is no need for mass media to unlock secrets of the card business and to comment on it, did not let representatives of the later to take part in the seminar.

Dear organizers of seminars and events, we would like to remind you that the European Court on Human Rights says that freedom of mass media is a vitally important factor for giving information to citizens.

To note, at present 10 out of 21 commercial banks acting in Armenia, are working by Visa cards.
