Ardshininvestbank starts taking deposits in Russian rubles at interest rate of up to 6.2% p.a.
ArmInfo. Ardshininvestbank has started taking deposits in Russian rubles at the interest rate of 6.2% p.a. The press service of Ardshininvestbank told ArmInfo that the bank also takes deposits in Armenian drams, US dollars and Euros from both individuals and legal entities by cash and noncash methods.
According to the source, the bank also offers various types of deposits allowing to maintain the accumulated interest in case of premature suspension of the contract, as well as deposits for children with gradually growing interest rates.
Chairman of Board of Ardshininvestbank Nerses Karamanukyan said that when attracting RUR deposits, Ardshininvestbank provides an opportunity to the population to maintain the funds received from abroad without additional conversion and financial losses.
According to the Ranking of Commercial Banks of Armenia prepared by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information (ArmInfo), as of 1 Jan 2011 the share of time deposits of Ardshininvestbank made up over 50% or 45.9 bln AMD of total liabilities of the bank. Over 61% of them or 28.1 bln AMD fell on credits for individuals. The portfolio of time deposits of the bank annually declined by 11.6%, and grew by 10% over Q4 2010 alone.
To recall, at present Ardshininvestbank has 55 branches, of them 13 in Yerevan, 36 in the regions and 6 in the NKR, as well as a representative office in Paris. The majority shareholders of Ardshininvestbank are the Center for Business Investments (87.23%) and the IFC (10%).
