In 2011 ProCredit Bank Armenia to help customers to use power saving technologies
ArmInfo. Considering the planned rise in electricity and gas prices, ProCredit Bank Armenia is presenting a new credit product, which is supposed to help customers to use power saving technologies, Executive Director of ProCredit Bank Bertold Hertzfeldt said in an interview to ArmInfo.
He said that in 2010 ProCredit Bank Armenia introduced a number of related credit products and is going to actively promote them this year. Particularly, the bank issues loans for improving housing conditions (replacing windows, installing heating system, etc.).
At the end of the last year the bank launched a basic package of internet banking products. This service is popular among business customers: as many as 100 clients have already used it. Hertzfeltd said that the popularity of this product is growing and in 2012 the bank will make additional investments in this project.
He said that ProCredit Bank Armenia is constantly studying the needs of customers and tries to timely react to them. In 2011 the bank will consider a new line of products and services.
Hertzfeltd said that a few days ago ProCredit Bank Armenia marked its 3th birthday. Opened Feb 5 2008, the bank has kept its promises and has become one of the leading creditors of small and medium-sized business.
ProCredit Bank Armenia is part of ProCredit Holding AG, established in 1998 by IPC as Internationale Micro Investitionen AG and renamed into ProCredit Holding in Jan 2005. The holding owns 62% stake in ProCredit Group. The shareholders of ProCredit Bank Armenia are ProCredit Holding, EBRD and KfW - 68.45%, 16.67% and 14.87%, respectively. In 2010 the loan book of the bank grew by 55% to $51.6mln, the deposit portfolio - by 38% to $25mln.
