Expert: Growing of crediting volumes is possible in the second half of 2011
ArmInfo. The delayed demand for credit resources because of high interest rates may lead to sharp jumping up of the volumes of crediting in the second half of 2011, Development Director of Ameriabank, Tigran Jrbashyan, made such a prediction. This may happen as the inflation expectations of the population may change in the second half of 2011.
He also added there are few factors able to change such a prediction: such external factor like changing of oil price and internal - changing of climate and other factors.
According to the data of Armenian National Statistical Service, the crediting volume of commercial banks of Armenia grew just by 0,3% in January 2011, having amounted to 944.1 bln drams ($2.6 bln) as of 1 February.
