ARARATBANK promised to preserve crediting rates of the last year
Arminfo. The credit portfolio of ARARATBANK grew by 60% in 2010. The bank will preserve such crediting rates in 2011, chairman of the bank board, Ashot Osipyan, told journalists today. He also added that at present the crediting volume of the bank amounted to 27 bln drams. At the beginning of the year this indicator was a little bit more than 25 bln drams.
He said that growth of crediting of the bank is accompanied with improvement of its credit portfolio.
According to the Ranking of commercial banks of Armenia prepared by ArmInfo, 57% of assets of ARARATBANK was the share of credits. As of 1 January 2011, the crediting volume of the bank amounted to 35.9 bln drams (taking into account the inter-bank credits). The share of the economy crediting was 51,1% or 18.3 bln drams out of the total volume of crediting (growth by 68%) as against the same period of 2010.
