VTB Bank (Armenia) cjsc recognized Best Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market by NASDAQ OMX Armenia
ArmInfo. NASDAQ OMX Armenia has recognized VTB Bank (Armenia) as the Best Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market. The other two contenders were HSBC Bank Armenia and Ardshininvestbank.
The press service of the VTB Bank (Armenia) told ArmInfo that Vice President of NASDAQ OMX Armenia Henrik Elfving awarded a memorable prize and the winner's certificate to Head of Treasury of VTB Bank (Armenia) Lusine Susanyan.
Head of the Financial Department, member of Directorate of VTB Bank (Armenia) Yuri Gusev said: "We are very happy to gain the first place in the nomination "Best Participant in Currency Market" in the contest held by NASDAQ OMX Armenia. It is especially important that the effectiveness of the transactions held is one of the evaluation criteria. It is the effectiveness of both our own and customer transactions that is a priority for us".
The Best Exchange Members of 2010 Award is granted once a year among the Exchange member companies based on the results of each year as of December 31. According to the results of 2010 the Award was granted for the following nominations: Best Exchange Member in Corporate Securities Market; Best Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market; Best Exchange Member in Credit Resources Market; Best Exchange Member in Foreign Currency Market.
According to the source, VTB Bank (Armenia) cjsc was also nominated for Best Exchange Member in Government Bonds Market Award.
