Central Bank of Armenia launches LexBox Legislation and Policy Database
ArmInfo. Central Bank of Armenia presented LexBox Legislation and Policy Database on March 21. Head of the CB Legal Department Varuzhan Avetikyan said during the presentation that the new base provides access to Armenian, Georgian, Russian, Turkish and European Union Financial sector primary and secondary legal acts, policy papers and official publications in one place. Database provides you with official documents in two languages: Armenian and English. Some legal acts are available in Russian.
The Central Bank considers the given tool useful for legal, business, academic, government and other specialists. It's main goal is to help specialists to spend less time on searching legal acts. Potential users will find in the new database the publications by the Armenian mega-regulator, books and the financial reports regularly published by the Central Bank. Such databases are no rare in the world, CB specialists say. It is especially useful for Database is stored in USB Flash and can be easily installed in any Computer. Once being installed the LexBox database may work both online and offline. Regular update is available through LexBox database website: www.lexbox.am.
The new database has an easy search system. The data will be regularly refreshed free of charge. The changes will be related not only to the amendments in the financial legislations of Armenia and its partners, but also of other countries.
At present over 400 various structures have got LexBox (on USB), in particular, leading educational establishments, consulting and legal firms, scientific and research institutes, and various financial associations.
The database monitoring system calculates the traffic of the new website's visitors and defines the most relevant data.
