Armenia boosts gold export for Q1 2011

ArmInfo. Armenia exported 484 kg of gold (including galvanic platinum sputter) in Jan- Mar 2011 versus the same period of 2010, says the Report of the Customs Service of Armenia.

The customs value of the exported gold totaled $9.925 thousand versus $5307 thousand for Q1 2010. Armenia imported 413 kg gold in the amount of 418368 thousand for Q1 2011 including galvanic platinum sputter versus 404kg for $14441 thousand as year ago.

Armenia exports mainly Dore gold. No pure gold is manufactured in the country.
