Unibank intends to open promo-points at computer equipment shops "Fine", "Nix" and "Compass"

In order to provide efficient consultation during consumer crediting and present the loan terms to the customers, Unibank will shortly open promo-points at the computer equipment shops "Fine" (6-7, Saryan Str.), "Nix" (12, Saryan Str.) and "Compass" (15, Sayat Nova Str.). The press service of Unibank told ArmInfo that the employees of promo-points will explain the procedure of crediting and help the customers to fill in the documents if necessary.
According to the source, Unibank provides loans for purchase of computer facilities from the above- mentioned shops on the following terms: the annual interest rate starts from 18%, redemption period is up to 2 years, the prepayment amount is zero. To receive a loan, it is necessary to submit an application, a passport, a social card and a certificate of employment. The bank informs the customer of the decision to provide him/her a loan within 40 minutes.
"As known, the strategic direction of Unibank's activity is development of retail banking business, and this implies first of all complex and high quality service of individuals. Therefore, alongside with expansion of the branch network, we have started creating promo-points at the trade outlets. By the end of the year we are going to considerably increase the number of our promo-points and cover other spheres as well", said Director for Retail Business Development of Unibank Mesrop Hakobyan.
According to the Ranking of Commercial Banks of Armenia prepared by the Agency of Rating Marketing Information, as of 1 Jan 2011, the credit portfolio of Unibank amounted to 75.5 bln AMD (6th position), with the annual growth being 11.4%. In its structure, the share of crediting of individuals made up 35.5% or 26.7 bln AMD (3rd position). Unibank is in the lead by the portfolio of consumer credits - almost 24 bln AMD or 31% of the bank's credit portfolio.
