Commerzbank grants 700 mln drams of banking guarantee to Ameriabank
ArmInfo. It is for the first time that the international financial structure Commerzbank has granted 700 mln drams of the banking guarantee to an Armenian bank, in the person of Ameriabank. As press-service of the bank reported, this guarantee is directed at trade financing and its delivery in the national currency will give an opportunity to customers of the bank to extend the financing of foreign trade bargains in Armenia.
According to the Ranking of commercial banks prepared by ArmInfo, as of 1 April 2011 Ameriabank occupied the first position in the banking system on economy crediting - 89 bln drams (about 80% of the credit portfolio of the bank), having ensured growth by 66% as against the same period of 2010 and 18% growth as against 4Q 2010.
