Armenian Labor Minister: If to preserve present volumes of financing, by 2014 the problem of indexation of deposits of Armenian citizens will be finally resolved


Arminfo. If we preserve the present volumes of financing, the problem of indexation of deposits of Armenian citizens in the saving bank of the former USSR will be finally resolved by 2014, Labor Minister Artur Grigoryan said in the parliament, Wednesday.

He said the programme has been implemented since May 2006. The total of 62 thsd citizens applied for indexation of their deposits. At present the deposits of 38 thsd people were indexed. The state budget of Armenia will allocate 1,7 bln drams to fulfill the programme in 2011. The veterans of the Great Patriotic War were the first to have the right for indexation of their deposits.
