National dram devaluates 0.1% in May 2011
ArmInfo. Consumer prices were left unchanged in May 2011 with the exchange rate of the Armenian dram against US dollar devaluating 0.1%, the National Statistical Service of Armenia told ArmInfo. Consumer prices were up 5% for Jan-May 2011 and the exchange rate grew 3.8%.
In May 2010 consumer prices were up 5.3% and Armenian dram appreciated against US dollar 1.2%. In May 2011 the average exchange rate of Armenian dram against US dollar was 374.12 AMD/$1USD which is 2.8% lower than a year ago (385.AMD/$1USD).
