Unibank to open specialized centers for consumer lending
ArmInfo. Unibank plans to open specialized centers for consumer lending, Unibank press-service told ArmInfo. The centers will be based on the bank's "Opera" and "Nairi" branches in Yerevan. The goal of the project is to facilitate procedures and reduce the terms of registration and provision of consumer loans and credit cards.
As of Q1 2011, Unibank was among top five banks in terms of consumer lending. As of June 1 2011 the portfolio of consumer loans exceeded 24.7 bln drams. The bank's loan portfolio is diversified with a focus of personal and SME finance.
"To organize operative service of borrowers an up-to-date automated technology of lending will be introduced at the specialized branches of the bank," says Sergey Arzumanyan, Chairman of Unibank Board, Director for Management of the Branch Network and Operation. At present the bank serves 37 branches and will increase their number to 42. The recently opened "Opera" and "Nairi" branches also provide a full spectrum of services. The bank develops also a net of promo-points at the shops of computer equipment Niks, Fine and Compas. New promo-points will soon be available also at Aviatrans agency and Online Plus shop. The promo-points will provide visitors with all the necessary information on and assistance in the lending procedures and registration of documents.
