INGO Armenia insures "Surrealism and Armenian Painters" exhibition showpieces worth $1.371 mln
ArmInfo. INGO Armenia has insured the showpieces of "Surrealism and Armenian Painters", "Salvador Dali and Surrealists" exhibitions to be held at the National Gallery of Armenia from July 7 to October 15 2011. Director General of INGO Armenia Levon Altunyan told ArmInfo that the insurance amount according to the insurance agreement is $1.371 mln, the insurance premium is 3.750 mln AMD. The exhibition has about 160 works by world famous surrealists brought to Armenia from Los Angeles.
According to the company, the insurance agreement has been signed according to "from nail to nail" formula, i.e. for the whole period of the exhibition, including the moment of packing the showpieces, their transportation and exhibition. As a rule, such insurance implies insurance of cultural values against "all risks". The insurance policy also covers the reduction of the insurance cost as a result of an insurance case.
To note, Armenia is hosting an exhibition dedicated to surrealism for the first time. The exhibition includes the works of such world famous masters of surrealism as Salvador Dali, Hans Bellmer, Leonor Fini and others. The exhibition also includes the xylography of V.Kandinsky, as well as the works of Armenian painters of this stream. Particularly, the matter concerns Ye.Kochar, H.Hakobyan, L.Tutunjyan, G.Khachatryan, S.Parajanov and others.
To recall, INGO Armenia was founded in the Armenian insurance market in 1997. It has licenses for 15 classes of non-life insurance.
